Nassau Grouper

Found around shallow coral reefs and seagrass beds, feeding mainly on fishes. This is the most friendly of all groupers. If offered food, it will return again and again, looking for more. As a defense, the Nassau grouper can change colors to blend perfectly into any background, from white to solid black. Range is Bermuda, North Carolina to Brazil, and the Gulf of Mexico.
